the doctor just told John that he isn't insane in the mmbrain(he isn't crazy)...then john is happy because he finally knows hes not loco...finally he walks away carrying garfeild..... But this is funny becuase we subtracted the garfeild ...so johwalks away like an escaped pycho pateint from the whacky house..lol
